｜簡介｜
陳建大明，畢業於國立臺南藝術大學造形藝術研究所，曾獲行政院文化建設委員會藝術村籌備處遴選於美國紐約 I.S.C.P.國際藝術駐村，並擔任高雄駁二藝術特區藝術總監，以及參與高雄城市光廊、高雄仁愛光雕公園等地的公共藝術創作，而藝術創作正是他探索與體驗宇宙生命奧義的方法之一。在歷經投身社會變遷過程中各種領域與面向的學習與建構，自然而然地轉化為個人進行藝術創作的素材與養分。
金木水火土，五行運轉，生生不息，超然順天。陳建大明創作融入「五行」的宇宙觀及「量子力學」、「超弦理論」等新見解，以細膩如絲的筆觸，獨具一格地創造了豐盈靈動、富含音樂性和律動感的視覺樂章，激盪心靈和塵世、宇宙的絮語和交響，並再由黑而白、從暗到亮的墨色層次裡，以純粹的黃金光澤暗亮相襯，隨心隨光而走。
C.C. Da Ming, who loves art since childhood, graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts, Tainan National University of The Arts. He was elected by Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan to be the resident artist of International Studio & Curatorial Program, New York in 2000. He used to serve as the artistic director of Kaohsiung Pier-2 Art Center, and participated in the public art creation of Kaohsiung “Urban Spotlight Arcade” and Kaohsiung Ren ‘ai Park. After participating in social activities, studying and reconstructing in various fields, C.C. Da Ming naturally transformed them into the material and nutrients for his artistic creation. So, artistic creation is one of his ways to explore and express the meaning of life in the universe.
Gold, wood, water, fire and earth, five elements revolving, life endlessly go on and on, those who obey the mandate of heaven will prosper. The works of C.C. Da Ming describes his world view of “five elements” and new insight such as “quantum mechanics”, “superstring theory”. With exquisite and silky brushwork, he uniquely creates abundant, agility visual feast which is rich in musical and rhythm feeling. His artworks stir the soul and the world, which is like the whisper and symphony of the universe. By black and white, from dark to bright, with pure gold luster and dark background, his artwork follow the light and his heart.
